Research Interests:Dr. Teh¡¯s research focuses on the treatment of genito-urinary malignancies and unlocking the myth of radio-resistance in cancers especially renal cell carcinoma. Other research interests include Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for prostate cancer, head and neck cancer, central nervous system tumor, pediatric cancer and breast cancer, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiation therapy (SRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), brachytherapy for prostate cancer, breast cancer and endobronchial tumors, SRS and SBRT for primary and metastatic renal cell carcinoma as well as hepatocellular carcinoma, the role of combined radiotherapy and gene therapy for cancers including prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, pancreatic cancer, glioblastoma multiforme, cervical cancer and head and neck cancer, combining targeted therapy (AKT-inhibitor, mTOR inhibitor, tyrosine kinase inhibitor) with radiotherapy for cancer treatment, and combining oncolytic virus with radiotherapy in overcoming radio-resistant tumors in oncology.
